First, I don’t normally disagree with other responders on Yahoo Answers as they are welcome to their own thoughts on the process of Internet Marketing.
However, I need to wonder how a person plans on building a "successful" website without starting at the foundation of SEO. It’s like trying to drive a porsh without a steering wheel. I’m sure it can be done, but why?
SEO is not that complicated especially if you do it the bum marketing way. However your question is not directly about SEO but rather how to succeed with Video Search engines.
I can boil that down to one phrase – "long tail keywords" but not just any long tail keywords, rather those that are built on the back of bum marketing.

As it relates to video directories, you would want to be sure to have your selected keyword phrase chosen from following the above process set as…
* One of your tags
* In the description of your video
* As part of the URL you refer people too
* And whereever else that directory allows you to put the bum marketed long tail keyword phrase at.

Can anyone give me more information on writing articles in order to boost your websites search engine ranking? Where would I post the article? Is this a effective approach? You can write the articles yourself. Just write informative articles, about 300 to 500 words long, on some interesting topics related to your niche. Submit these articles to article directories like ezinearticles and goarticles
At the bottom of the article they will allow you to have a biobox in which you can add anchor text links to your websites

I would like to ask how much it will cost a search engine optimization of a site. I found couple of web sites that do that and I’m waiting for a estimate from there. I just want to know how much is.

Here are some reasons why you should not choose nexus-webdesign.com as your SEO provider:
1. Their Portfolio [link] is merely a series of templates which are not truly operating domain named websites; and the navigational links "1, 2, 3" are inoperable;
2. Their Web Design link is merely a "Home" webpage notation, not anything unique and different; and,
3. Some of the Text Headings are scrambled such as "SEO Optimization."
Overall, if their own website is any indication of the quality of workmanship they will provide to you, then don’t expect to get a quality ecommerce website.
