I’m looking to outsource my SEO management. I get a dozen phone calls at my office every day from different companies trying to sell their marketing genious. I am looking for someone to tell me which companies are worth their price and which may not be.
I don’t know, but your avatar looks like a constipated version of mine!
I am not affiliated. I am interested in knowing if there are any other services that offer a comparable service to this in a similar Search Engine Optimization. I believe Google Analytics, Clicky, and Rhinoseo provide nearly all of the same data that Hubspot collects at a cost of $0, but then HubSpot charges $6,000 a year for its services. Is there something I’m missing with this company and why do you think they are charging this much a year for its service, while other companies can provide free technologies? How can any new business see that these costs are well worth it? Has anyone used or know any companies that use their "inbound marketing" services? Can this be affective way of getting traction on a website or would hiring a SEO all-star full time be better recommended for a startup?
i would definetly hire a seo all-star thats way too expensive.
The website is ScrapbookingClassifieds.com, and scrapbooking is very popular and filled with search engine results. What is the best software for search engine optimization or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Getting traffic is a combination of a lot of things. The key to success is to create great content that visitors want to use, search engines will love and other websites will naturally link to. Of course, it’s easier said than done.
Given that your site is a forum, one thing you need to know is that people don’t like going to a "dead" forum with no posts in it. Try to seed your forum by putting content on it — ask your friends to put their ads (some forum owners even create accounts for themselves just so the forum becomes lively at the start).
Then make sure that the dynamic content of your forum can be accessed by the search engines. Some forum are inaccessible to search engines and require installation of hacks to remedy the problem. This is critical if you want to be seen on the search engines
You can use pay per click advertising in the search engines to reach audiences looking for your products. You can use Google Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords or Yahoo http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com
Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:
1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement – if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.
2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important — and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more – that’s additional traffic that you get for FREE!

3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.
If you are going to read only one piece on search engine optimization, I suggest you read Brett Tabke of WebmasterWorld.com’s "Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone: 26 steps to 15k a day." http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm
4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.
Here is a comprehensive list of where to submit your articles http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylt=AhzreGmnCUicOoyedqypscUjzKIX?qid=1006022407481
6. Post a link to your site for free where it is allowed (always read the Terms of Use). Examples are:

Hey, I am considering moving to Honolulu, Hawaii in the near future..(moving from London), so pursue my career in the Travel and Tourism industry.
Is Honolulu, and the Hawaiian islands in general, an expensive place to live? and are flights from the mainland USA to the islands very expensive?
Thank you in advance!
Another point, is it expensive to travel from one island to another?
Thanks again
yes it is. naturally because it costs so much mroe money to ship everything out there… milk, food, gas etc
but definately worth it! watch for local surfers, dont act like the shit haha
take it easy man
Keyword density is not AS important. I would try to write naturally first, before you worry about density. Remember, everything that is HTML counts towards density, footers, menus, side bar etc.
You can wind-up over optimizing. I would write naturally, use at least an H1 tag and then work on backlinks. Ever check a cached version of a site a never find the keywords even on the page?
You would see this "These terms only appear in links pointing to this page:"
So, keywords are important but I wouldn’t worry about density. Use backlinks to help boost you up. If density was the only factor, then everyone would rank well, once they guessed the right percentage that is.
What are some things that’s bad or negative about Hawaii?
ex. bad weather or something?
Way too expensive to live and can’t find a job.
My senior friends are in deep trouble because there is no jobs available for them that they can survive on their own on.
Sometimes my mom thinks its not worth it living in Hawaii because there are always more taxes being made and they want to build buildings to "better hawaii" and it sucks money out of the peoples wallets.
Another thing is its not the same. Barely people know the meaning of aloha.
I want to make my website as search engine friendly, while reading information Search engine optimization i have found sitemap word.
please can any one let me know what is the sitemap.
From Google, Inc.:
"The Sitemap Protocol allows you to inform search engines about URLs on your websites that are available for crawling. In its simplest form, a Sitemap that uses the Sitemap Protocol is an XML file that lists URLs for a site. The protocol was written to be highly scalable so it can accommodate sites of any size. It also enables webmasters to include additional information about each URL (when it was last updated; how often it changes; how important it is in relation to other URLs in the site) so that search engines can more intelligently crawl the site.
Sitemaps are particularly beneficial when users can’t reach all areas of a website through a browseable interface. (Generally, this is when users are unable to reach certain pages or regions of a site by following links). For example, any site where certain pages are only accessible via a search form would benefit from creating a Sitemap and submitting it to search engines.
This document describes the formats for Sitemap files and also explains where you should post your Sitemap files so that search engines can retrieve them.
Please note that the Sitemap Protocol supplements, but does not replace, the crawl-based mechanisms that search engines already use to discover URLs. By submitting a Sitemap (or Sitemaps) to a search engine, you will help that engine’s crawlers to do a better job of crawling your site.
Using this protocol does not guarantee that your webpages will be included in search indexes. (Note that using this protocol will not influence the way your pages are ranked by Google.)"
does meta data matter for search results in search engines?
where is the best place to put meta data?
What the best structure for metadata?
ANy tips for search engine optimization?
you put metadata in meta tags (if im understanding your question correctly) and yes meta tags are very important for search but backlinks are more important to google and google ranks sites mostly based on link popularity, but also a little tiny bit of it relies on meta tags, titles, and keywords in the content.
I want to get good search results in yahoo search. What I do for that. Are you giving guarantee for the results within first 10 results and the no.1 result. What are the charges for optimization? And how I get good result without payment.
contact www.advertigo.co.in , they are the specialist in this field. and also to ensure specific rank in se, its a bit costly affair .
Hi I am having an issue that you all may be able to help me with. I have a company that is more focused into the Search Engine Marketing and/or Optimization and I focus on small/medium sized business as the targets. My issue is that many of the smaller ones want a site done in addition to this (Which we can do but don’t always have the time, and they have smaller budgets which makes it even harder). How do you think we should handle these sites. People want to be satisfied as well as have a good price that is affordable to them.
Thank You Very Much for your Answers
Partner with a web designer that has the chops but is just coming up. Guarantee leads as they come for a predetermined price. Find someone that is new so they will be glad for the work and experience as it comes and they will not over charge on their rate. Also, they will be apt to give each project special attention… Just make sure they got the chops!
